What is Body Stress Release — (BSR)?
BODY STRESS RELEASE is a complementary health technique concerned with assisting the body to release stored tension, allowing it to maximise its natural self-healing ability.
Physical, mental and chemical stresses accumulate within tissues of the body and manifest as body stress which becomes locked in when the body fails to adapt to an overload of stress - resulting in pain, stiffness, numbness,cramping and postural distortions. The body's co-ordination may also become impaired.
Body Stress Release is a gentle procedure in which areas of body stress are precisely located by accurately reading the body's response to a specific stimulus. The practitioner assists the body to release the tension by applying light but definite pressure to the sites of body stress.
